Gordon Brown, get the message?

From 3rd to fifth!

Henley isn’t exactly Labour territory – it isn’t anything like anyone’s territory other than the Tories – but when you come a-lacking behind the BNP, that has to say something about your standing in the country.

And that standing must be low.

The British voter is moving all the more away from Labour – and no one is doing a thing about it. Labour are, I can only assume, waiting for something to happen where they won’t even have to campaign – they do have two years, but that, even now, is biting off too much.

The British people are waiting to flex their electoral muscle and Labour is holding them back – yes, the people will be speaking once again but this time it will be a landslide for the Tories if Gordon Brown and his team don’t do something to stop that slide.

Is it too late? A day in politics is a very long time, but time does go very slowly and it will be agonising for the Labour team.
