OK – there have been a few teacher bashing posts from me today – I don’t make any excuse for it other than they deserve it if they dish it. I both hated and loved my teachers – some were right evil bastards, others were just brilliant and deserved a medal for what they did – Mr Lloyd you were a star! But if you think that the UK has it bad – you couldn’t be more mistaken!
What if, and I ask you this without a hint of mirth, you had a code of conduct for your place of learning that has this tripe attached to it:
4 Reprimands + $10 Fine
* Allowing unauthorized overnight visitor in residence room
* Absence from required meeting
* Disturbance/non-participation during Convocation
* Dress/hair code violation: male or female
* Failure to respond to an official call slip (for Student Affairs use only)
* Horseplay (plus financial restitution)
* Improper personal contact (anything beyond hand-holding)
* Improper sign out
* Missing Convocation
* Music code violation
* Outside residence hall after curfew
* Residence hall disturbance/noise violation
* Unauthorized borrowing (plus financial restitution)
I’ll bet you like that! Or what about this?
30 Reprimands + $500 Fine
+ 30 hours Disciplinary Community Service + possible Administrative Withdrawal. NOTE: For each accumulation of six or more reprimands after 30, an additional $150 fine will be assessed.
* Abortion
* Academic dishonesty
* Assault/sexual assault (minimum two semesters out)
* Commission/conviction of any felony
* Failure of three Christian/Community Services without reconciliation
* Illegal drugs-association/possession, use/distribution (minimum two semesters out)
* Immorality
* Involvement with witchcraft, séances or other occult activities
Now I don’t know about you – but even I think that those are, to say the least – a little too much. There are more but I just had to stop laughing, again, realising that this garbage was serious – back to the rocking in a corner stuff, if you get what I mean.

I know I should probably be scared for the state of my country upon learning about Liberty University, but I can’t stop laughing at the sheer stupidity of the brainwashed people who attend school there!

That’s a private school. You have to WANT to go to a place like that. Just like if I enjoy a beer, I probably wouldn’t want to bring beer onto the campus of a madrassa, right?

I can’t help but wonder if they get reprimanded for abortion if they automatically get reprimanded for the improper personal contact, or if they just skip forward.
I mean, who knows, maybe they are just concerned that one of their virgins will abort the next saviour…
Absolutely crazy that this kind of thing still exists anywhere at all!

Oh, when I started reading this I knew which school you were talking about immediately. This is for kids who were homeschooled by their parents to prevent them from meeting black people.

When I first read that, apart from the complete shock, which soon left me when I realised it was
A) An American Uni
B) Very Christian establishment, I mean good old fashion Old school testament style.
I noticed the amount of room for “loopholes”. I mean yes they ban witchcraft….but not Bestiality….I am thinking they did not quite think it through properly…or they should just ban everything full stop

You know…there was a lot of stuff regarding members of the opposite sex in the link. I didn’t notice anything about same-sex. Soooooo, some people just might not mind going there LOL!
